Famos Medizintechnik GmbH is located and founded in Straelen - Germany since 1992.

From the early beginning of chemical indicators for sterility assurance purposes, Famos GmbH has been involved in the process of developing, producing, marketing and sales for these products, launching new products and systems on a regular basis. Famos is a member of ISO and DIN working groups.

In 1994 Famos moved to a new location i.e. Gutenbergstrasse to facilitate production and expanding storage. The first years Famos was concentrated to the German speaking markets but export started in 2000. In 2010 Famos is exporting to more than 35 countries.　

Being the first to be given the ISO 9001 German TÜV Certificate in our field, high quality level of Famos has been assured since 1996. It is being proved since then, by the yearly increasing turnover, and every time when a Famos product is launched in yet another hospital somewhere in the world.　

In 2009 we moved into our 1.100 sqm location at the Robert Bosch Strasse - Straelen, Germany where we integrated all our offices, production, storage and laboratory.

Today our complete product range of sterility assurance products (SAP) is in use in hospitals and pharmaceutical / medical device industry around the world, distributed by our gingerly selected, skilled and well-trained exclusive partners in various countries.　

We are supporting our customers and distributors to the best of our ability and opportunities, with our skilled staff & after sales policies.　 Our company policy is based on two values:

All processes inside our organization and distribution channels are developed in such a way that a complete traceability from raw materials into SAP is possible.　

Test records of all SAP are kept for 30 years after last distribution date.
