Steam Integrators are developed for several time/temperature combinations. Integrators are packed in pouches, packs or containers together with the instruments to be sterilized, by that way they show whether all sterilization conditions are met inside the pack or container.
It is giving an ensurance to the operating room nurses and doctors about the sterility of the instruments, just before use. Easy to check the color change as the reference color is printed on the integrator. They change color from yellow to black.
Three Phased Sequential integrators are specially designed to check the time and temperature combination in three different steps. Each integrating indicator is validated to another time/temperature combination. Like the steam integrators they are packed together with the instruments in packs or containers.
Famos’ Prion integrators are specially designed to check the time and temperature combination for prion cycles
134° C - 18 minutes.
All Famos integrators are easy to interpret and document, stability of the indicator is guaranteed related to the color change for more than 10 years which is important for record keeping.
