Today’s sterilization is more challenging than ever before. The demanding obligation of the CSSD is increasing, especially towards sterilization of more complex instruments. Meanwhile traceability (record keeping) and sterilization assurance are becoming a global standard.

Famos is putting a lot of effort to assist hospitals world-wide with their sterilization department. Every year more sterilization monitoring products are developed by us likewise specific products for traceability and tracking of instrument trays/containers. By means of these new sterilization assurance products we contribute to establish a controlled sterilization, storage and distribution of medical devices in more and more Hospitals.

Standards and norms are ruling the sterilization as well as sterilization assurance. Our sterilization assurance products are based upon ISO 11138 and ISO 11140 and the production of our SAP is ruled by ISO 9001 as well as ISO 13485.
